TX: Terrell County Sheriff's Office #OperationLonestar Deputy is nearly hit by a human smuggling driver who led law enforcement on a nearly 70 mile pursuit through Terrell and Pecos counties last night as he was attempting to transport 11 undocumented individuals into the interior of the country. He eventually came to a stop when he couldn’t negotiate a turn according to Terrell County Sheriff Thaddeus Cleveland.

The car was registered to known Tango Blast Gang member living in Midland, Texas.

Sheriff Cleveland says 9 illegal immigrants are outstanding from this load vehicle. The driver is facing charges for human smuggling.

@DonHarris4 With that said speaking with members of law enforcement and local government and over the years one of the main issues plaguing the legal system is mental health. Texas ranks dead last in caring for people with those conditions.
