Israeli settlers were filmed stealing a donkey belonging to a Palestinian farmer and dragging the injured animal behind a utility vehicle until it was killed in the South Hebron Hills, in the occupied West Bank.

The footage shows the donkey tied to the vehicle as it is pulled along, struggling to keep up as the vehicle continues moving at speed.

The animal is then seen being dragged across the ground before being killed.

Similar incidents have been documented and reported frequently across the occupied West Bank, with Israeli settlers stealing livestock, seizing Palestinian agricultural land, taking over homes and property, destroying crops and water sources, and carrying out attacks against Palestinian communities.

Such actions have continued with little to no accountability for those responsible, contributing to a wider pattern of settler violence and dispossession.
