Big shout out today to the fabulous @AfghanWnt 👋
Two years since they fled to safety in Australia, they’ve worked so hard to represent the rights of all Afghan women.
Tomorrow is their second consecutive Finals as they continue to rise 💪❤️
Good luck tomorrow team @gomvfc
Two years ago the team that buried their uniforms and trophies due to the risk to their lives, today are scoring goals and winning games in the home of Matildas. Congratulations 🎊 Team Afghanistan 🇦🇫/sisters for the promotion in the league. Thank you @gomvfc family for being the home & family for our players. @AfghanWnt #UnbreakableTogether
Club managing director Caroline Carnegie confirmed to me today that @gomvfc will continue to provide the @AfghanWnt with both the support it needs to play next season and continue its efforts to lobby FIFA for a return to international football.
Football gives you the strengths the power to keep going.
Never give up on what you are dreaming of cause your faith will lead you to success. no matter how long does it takes but just keep your hopes up and believe in yourself.

Meeting with @SenatorWong ambassador of Afghanistan in Australia, and other political figures. In Brisbane in regards of gender equality program. Sport / soccer is for everyone and this is a basic human right to do what they are passionate in.Gender equality is mankind solidarity
We struggled for lifetime to play soccer and we did internationally but unfortunately due to the Taliban attack and they took over Afghanistan we lost hope of playing again and we rescued by @ausgov and now we want to get our recognition back from @Fifa it’s our right!
On Tuesday, the inaugural Hope Cup took place between the @AfghanWnt and Football Empowerment to highlight the hope of Afghan women footballers to have their right to compete internationally once again.
@gomvfc@AfghanWnt Afghan women always fight and continue to fight, we have the courage to play outside Afghanistan. FIFA should recognize the national women's team of Afghanistan
The Taliban is erasing Afghan women from all public life. It's time for @FIFAcom to recognise @afghanWNT and send a message: women belong at work, in the classroom and on the football pitch.
Thank you for leading the charge, @khalida_popal.

Unfortunately nowadays Taliban banned these innocent voiceless generation from playing football and study, it always reminds me my circumstances in Afghanistan before coming to Australia. We must get together to support and help these children that need help, they are suffering.
I used to Train and Teach these children that they get to know their talents and realise how powerful and capable they are and the can go forward with the passion they have in any Soprt/ especially in Soccer with dedication, hard work and being honest to themselves.
The Afghanistan Women's National Football Team are keeping their football dreams alive despite being in exile and playing on foreign soil.

Wonderful to see the Afghan Ladies Team finding a new base in Australia. Hopefully they will gain recognition from Fifa to continue as a team and get gender equality despite what has happened in Afghanistan.
