Something new from me.

I’ve launched Black Screen Ambient Radio — a new YouTube channel built around original, artist-curated sound experiences for sleep, relaxation, focus, travel, and simply escaping the noise for a while.

Everything you hear is created and selected with intention, including immersive environmental recordings, atmospheric soundscapes, piano, rain, ocean, nature, and more.

Eva is going to be taking us around the world, discovering some of these sounds along the way.

Come over, take a listen, and if you enjoy what you hear, please subscribe. It really helps a new channel grow.

Man Parrish Stories On YouTube: Studio 54 was the kind of place where absolutely anything could happen — even former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger ending up on the dance floor with someone he probably wasn’t expecting. In this story, I remember one of those wonderfully bizarre Studio 54 moments where politics, celebrity, nightlife, and New York’s outrageous downtown culture all collided under one roof. Kissinger was there, the music was going, everybody was dancing… and somehow he found himself dancing with a glamorous drag performer. Did he know? Did he care? Who knows. That was Studio 54. For a few hours, everybody was just part of the same insane party.

Entering an infectious diseases ward in the early days of AIDS (then called GRID) meant full protective gear. This was a reality for the first patients in NYC, facing an unknown illness with a compromised immune system. #History #AIDSawareness #PublicHealth

Before Madonna became one of the biggest stars in the world, she was opening shows for me in New York. In this story, I remember one unforgettable night at Studio 54 — backstage with a young Madonna who already knew exactly what she wanted and wasn’t afraid to say it. This was New York nightlife before everything changed.

Klaus Nomi's New York debut was legendary. A shy baker with a unique look and a powerful falsetto, he redefined performance art. His 'crown' haircut symbolized his unique heritage: the child of Maria Callas and Elvis Presley. #KlausNomi #MusicHistory

So I'd like to say I'm patting myself on the back. I just finished all the music for my NEW FREE Internet Radio Station that's going's to Premier on YouTube.

Why YouTube? It's called Black Screen Ambient Tadio. You could turn it on your phone, your computer, your desktop whatever and you could play continuous, ambient music or thunderstorms, ocean waves, drone music, spa, music, piano music, etc. etc.

There will be no images or distracting light (just a black screen) if you want to fall asleep or study by it. It's basically an audio only channel, but through the mass distribution system of YouTube ....

And in the last five days I generated 115 hours of music for it !!!

To put that in perspective that's 115 one hour long albums!!

... or

57 two hour concerts non stop!

ALL NEW ORIGINAL MATERIAL MADE FROM SCRATCH....

Hopefully, I'll have it up by this weekend. I'll keep everybody posted. It's free!

Whew!!!

[Man Parrish @ManParrishReal]

So here's a quick update. I'm doing black screen ambient radio. It's gonna be on YouTube and you turn on the "radio station" and you can choose some different categories. I'm gonna do a whole environment thing with thunderstorms, rain, crickets and fields, nighttime insects, Prairie, etc., etc. I'm using high-quality field recording so nothing is AI or synthesized. And I'm mixing everything in Dolby Atmos so if you put it on your headphones, you're gonna be fully immersed in 3-D. Just keeping everybody posted hopefully I'll have at least these environmental sounds done by the end of the week. I'm doing some original ambient music compositions too. That will be drones, ambient music, sound, environments, etc.… I'm excited and hope to get you guys a link as soon as it's up and running!

Man Parrish on Trauma, Mental Health and Healing https://t.co/xwkd23yRoZ via @YouTube

Hey, this is a rare video. I did a while back which talks about mental health and trauma that I've been through, but it's not just a personal thing. It's more letting people know that there's options out there if you've gone through crazy stuff in your life. It's a little heavy, but maybe it'll help somebody out there. That's why I'm posting it… Thanx! By the way more stories will be coming soon on the "Man Parrish Stories" channel on YouTube.
