By now, the fake “Kota conversion racket” story has probably been shared with hundreds of thousands of people on WhatsApp and social media.

These accounts deliberately didn’t mention that the accused in this case is Manish Sharma, a Hindu who allegedly used the fake Muslim name Moin Khan online while targeting Hindu women, collecting obscene videos, and operating under a false Muslim identity.

Instead, they portrayed the case as a Muslim conspiracy involving religious conversion and Pakistan.

These people knowingly communalize such cases to frame the Muslim community and deliberately fuel hatred against it.

Now that they know the accused is Hindu, their outrage has vanished. Had the accused actually been a Muslim, this would likely have dominated national headlines for weeks, with endless prime-time debates and loud demands for bulldozer action.

The outrage was never about the crime. It was about the identity of the accused.

🚨 #ExpressInvestigation | The Union Minister of State for Agriculture Bhagirath Choudhary received a ₹99.03 lakh subsidy for a commercial cucumber farming project under a scheme run by the ministry he serves in.

While the final approval was granted by an NHB project approval committee that does not include the minister, Choudhary is the ex-officio Vice-President of the NHB board that oversees its functioning.

On June 12, 2026, First Additional Sessions Judge Tabassum Khan sentenced seven men to life imprisonment for the 2022 lynching of Najir Ahmed.

All the convicts are indeed Hindu men. But they were not convicted because of their religion; they were convicted because the investigation found them guilty of rioting, attempted murder and murder.

Yet our Hindu brother in the video is not outraged by their behaviour. His outrage is reserved for one fact alone: that the judge who convicted them is a Muslim woman.

In any civilised society, such bigotry would invite swift legal action. In Modi's India, however, this man spewing hate walks free while notices are sent to those questioning his conduct.
