@IsraKaarin I agree, when the sun is shining into my room as I wake up I tend to start my better in a much better mood. Spending time in nature and being in the sun is shown to enhance one's spiritual wellness, which can improve one's physical and emotional health. #hkr1000
Based on both MoodChecks and the course material, I found my sleep greatly affected by the amount of stress I was experiencing. Lacking sleep in hence made me more irritable and stressed. It is important to get 7-9 hours of sleep to feel and perform your best everyday. #hkr1000
@Briannaw00 I was also taken back when I heard this. It is crazy how much our nutrition can impact our health, both physically and in this case mentally. #hkr1000
After watching the "Food Matters" video, I learnt that when we cook our food we kill live enzymes that help our body with digestion. This is important to note as even steaming vegetables kills these enzymes, therefore raw vegetables have a higher nutritional value. #hkr1000
@Sanskar01711501 I agree, physical wellness is essential as it provides numerous benefits. Hopefully these numbers will rise as our class learns more of these health benefits throughout the course, becoming more aware and more active. #hkr1000
After having assessed the scores of our class Lab 1 report, I can conclude that the results show that the majority of my classmates care about their overall wellness. It is great to see that 88.09% of us have a positive outlook on life. #hkr1000
