Nagamalleswari has been teaching French in Manthan since 2013. Though she started her career in the corporate sector, she learnt French during a sabbatical and eventually, became a French teacher.

The members of Manthan’s student-led Community Outreach and Aid Programme (COAP) Club had organised a donation drive for the benefit of the neighbourhood Tellapur Zilla Parishad School during Christmas. They were finally able to hand over all these items before the summer break.
More than 200 teaching and non-teaching staff gathered at the JRC Convention Centre, Jubilee Hills, and participated wholeheartedly to make the Manthan staff party, Surabhi, a huge success.

Manthan students, Haasini Kellampalli and Ishan Khire, came second in ICYD 2022 which was hosted by the Oxford Union on April 23. Haasini was adjudged 4th best speaker of the tournament while Ishan was 7th best. Manthan is proud of their immense talent and hard work.
Middle School (grades 6-8) participated in Samanvay, the social week, and used their class learning in different ways for different grades. Grade 6 became reporters, grade 7 world travellers and grade 8 artifact collectors. All winners were awarded medals and certificates.

Samanvay, the Social Week, was a great learning experience for our students in Grades 3-5. The event concluded with an award ceremony and appreciation for all.
Grade 12 A Level learners worked on a Math activity related to modulus functions. They applied concepts related to transformation of the function and solved quadratic equations and inequalities to derive the properties of modulus functions and solve problems through sketches
Suhel Akhtar has been the Subject and Content Lead for Hindi since he joined Manthan in 2015. He has a Master’s in Urdu from Allahabad University and has taught Hindi in Chirec before coming to Manthan.

Students from grades 9-12 participated in different activities to showcase their learning from Social Studies during Samanvay, the Social Week. Topics on social issues were represented in posters, newsletters, poetry, comic strips and discussed in quiz, debate and JAM sessions.
The Class of 2022 has received excellent university offers and is all set to go places!!
90% of the applying class has at least one offer. The remaining students are either awaiting offers or preparing for national competitive exams.

Manthan is hosting Samanvay, the social week, from April 4-8 for students of Grades 3-12. Students will be participating in different activities to showcase their learning creatively from all the four branches of Social Studies–History, Geography, Economics and Political Science.
Primary Classes (grades 1-3) started last week and our young learners have settled into their new classes with their new teachers, books and friends. They are excited to be back and that was reflected in what they had to say about why they like school. We are glad they’re back!

Every Ending Is A New Beginning
After 2 years of virtual classes, exams and celebrations, the Class of 2022 had their convocation ceremony on March 28 in the School Auditorium. Family, friends and faculty were in attendance as the students received their scrolls.
Congratulations Kathyayini for winning three medals at the Hyderabad District Gymnastics Championship that too competing against national level gymnasts! We wish her the best for many such achievements in the future!!
Tenth grader, Samanvi Dhanashri, was runner up in the Girls Voice Movement for the Advocacy and Communication challenge of the 1000 Girls 1000 Futures programme of the New York Academy of Sciences. Her team made a digital presentation on Women in STEM.

AS Level Pure Math Activity
11th graders did a recap activity related to quadratics in which they applied derivations and properties of quadratics to find vertex, minimum/maximum points and nature of the roots. The activity was presented in the form of posters by the students.
