SAURAV DAS 🔥: Delhi Police has moved the Supreme Court to quash nearly 13 FIRs against the protesting youth. CJP will be present at tomorrow’s hearing.

A high-level government delegation flew to Puducherry three times to discuss the FIRs and compensation. But until every promise is honoured, the pressure will not stop.

The FIRs must go, compensation must come and CJP’s peaceful march on September 5 will go ahead. ✊

The government has filed quashing of all FIRs wrt Delhi and have ensured no targeting or harassment in future as well.

We are monitoring the situation.

Hope the other BJP/NDA states will file the same application by tonight. Positive development is expected on the compensation for families of the dead NEET victims too. I, @whattalawyer, and other members of the CJP will be in the Supreme Court tomorrow when the matter will be taken up in an urgent hearing.

We continue to stand by all young persons and every student. We will never let them be alone when it comes to facing the brunt of the state. Our efforts have led to issuing of notifications by all NDA/BJP states, where we have worked on the exact language to be used.

The government delegation also flew down to Pondicherry to meet me in the last three days to talk and give progress reports.

We will ensure there is no vishwasghaat with the youth and the families of the dead NEET victims.

BREAKING: Delhi Police tells
#SupremeCourt it "no longer wishes to pursue" 13 FIRs from July CJP protests, invokes Article 142

• Reason cited: Centre decided on July 25, 2026 to move away from prosecuting the broader protest FIRs, which cover rioting, attempt to murder and property damage, and instead narrow the net

• Only 2873 individuals with "serious criminal antecedents" per NCRB database, prima facie present at protest sites, to face a single fresh FIR

• Investigation to focus solely on their role in violence and damage, rest of those booked across the 13 FIRs effectively let off

• Police affidavit states no further FIRs will be filed for these incidents hereafter
