The community of Gansbaai in the Western Cape marched to their local police station to show support for KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Lieutenant General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi.

The demonstration followed Mkhwanazi’s recent allegations of corruption and political interference within the South African Police Service (SAPS), specifically implicating Police Minister Senzo Mchunu and other senior officials.

Protesters made their message clear, “you touch General Mkhwanazi, you touch us.”
