@AcademyScoop I think we should aim for Garner as well. Ederson, Garner, Fernandes, Mainoo. We'd be elite. It's not the sexy names everyone wants but Fernandes will be Anderson like, Garner is great and will get better. Ederson decent rotation option.

@markgoldbridge Who is for the bench? Fernandes will be our number 1 CM in the season. He will be as good as Anderson. Ederson will be a good option for specific games.

Also rather sign the cheaper players first than the expensive and then pay more for the cheap.

@IanM1st Why do we need a marquee signing? I'd rather just get 3 who can work together with Kobbie. Garner, Ederson, Fernandes (who will be elite in a year or 2), with Mainoo provides good options and great combinations to handle all PL situations.

Garner, Ederson and Fernandes with Mainoo would be brilliant CM options.

We don't need a "marquee" signing. We need a squad that can compete and if that means we get 2 players for the price of 1 "marquee" I take it this Summer.

Obviously if money isn't an issue it's all good.
