@dabiislits @backtoedbre Pretty sure that’s actually the fascia you’re seeing! The white layer of fascia is present before you go down to the muscle (they cut through it so it’s not covering it fully anymore). It’s still really deep and definitely required professional care..

@himihya You can, but there’s high risk of reopening wounds and infection.. Have personal experience with this LOL. Also the itching is terrible while wearing shoes!!!

@chaewonigal @Rrottengutz This seems to be arterial bleeding, so unless they got medical attention within a couple minutes and quickly applied a tourniquet.. They’re most likely deceased. Bright red bleeding with high pressure and a spurting flow indicates damaged arteries, which are vital to survival.

@tsunamibun @Rrottengutz This is a vein. Not as dangerous as hitting an artery (you can tell by the fact it’s dark red, steadily flowing blood rather than a brighter red and coming in spurts/a pumping/pulsing flow), but still could be fatal under specific circumstances. Medical attention is warranted!

@junebug_uwu6757 I think I know what vid you’re talking about, pretty sure it’s actually fascia!! (Layer before muscle) and/or perhaps visible tendons. Still incredibly deep for a single swipe though

@alexiscryingrn The 2 smaller ones appear to be styros but the big one is definitely beans!! I can see it on the right side inside the wound, some yellowish marbling
