May, 18, 2206: Kamrun Nahar and her sons Ayman Ahmed and Ayaash Ahmed were murdered at Campbelltown, NSW. MD Shomon Ahamed is charged with three counts of murder (DV). Kamrun is the 29th of 30 Australian women killed this year.

May 18, 2026: Kylee McHugh died at her home in Belconnen, ACT. ACT Police have confirmed the Homicide Squad had taken carriage of the investigation. Kylee is the 30th Australian woman killed this year.

46-year-old Kylee McHugh died at the time of a fire at a home in Belconnen, ACT, on May 18. Police have confirmed the fire is suspicious and her death us a homicide. Kylee is the 30th Australian woman killed this year.

Police have charged a 31-year-old woman with murder (domestic violence) following the death of her four-year-old daughter at Lowood, Queensland, yesterday. The little one is the 11th child lost to violence this year.
