While mapping out Mackinaw, we tried a few coffee shops, and this one quickly became our favorite! Strait to the Roots on South Huron Ave is a charming, locally owned spot right on the mainland. Great coffee and good vibes. @straittotheroots

We then strolled down 9 mile for some hearty, handmade Italian at Pop's. Arguably some of the best Italian in Oakland county, they’ve got wood-fired pizzas and amazing handmade pastas.
