捕まった際、ナチス共に凄惨な屈辱と恥辱の拷問を受けてもなお、仲間の情報を吐かなかった人物。(拷問がお察しの通り、吐き気を覚える)
映画にもなった有名なソ連の英雄。
(Amazonプライムで見た様な記憶がある)
ナチスにとって彼女の存在は最も忌み嫌う為、破壊した節を感じる。
ナチ共はゾヤの意思を踏み躙ることが出来なかった。

What a disgrace. I remember her name from a Russian book [Zoya and Shura) translated in English about two Soviet teenagers who fought in the Red Army and wer captured, abused and shot by the German soldiers that I read in the 1950's. That statues of people like her are being destroyed is a sign of the fascism that is deeply embedded now in Ukrainian nationalism. I hope other Ukrainians will one day return it to its plinth. Her story is pretty amazing.
