ANTH 3221: Field School provides students with hands-on training in survey and excavation techniques, artifact identification, site mapping and data recording while investigating Precontact life along the St. Croix. This course will be taught by Dr. Edward Fleming in Summer 2023.

Recently, @sciencemuseummn staff visited our partners in Chiapas, Mexico for our Chiapas Maya textile digitization project! It was wonderful to have the opportunity to work together & learn about textile preservation, weaving traditions & improving community access to collections
@StoriedStrands i had this same issue until a coworker introduced me to this idea: glue/stick them to magnets to put on your fridge, filing cabinets, etc! get to use them without the pressure of permanency!
Come check out the new Community Curator exhibit @sciencemuseummn! BIPOC community members toured SMM’s collections, chose and wrote about objects that resonated with them, which are displayed in the lobby. This case will change monthly, with a new curator featured each month!
