@ladyjessicahaze@The_ACNA@DioQuincy In Anglicanism the primary moral agent is the individual Christian, who alone is responsible for moral decision making. Fr. Marchand should not have allowed his bishop to transgress the limits of his episcopal office. An Anglican Bishop may only censor a priest by inhibiting him.
@abbinye@The_ACNA In Anglicanism the primary moral agent is the individual Christian, who alone is responsible for moral decision making. The Church and her Bishops may not impose a moral decision. Fr. Marchand’s bishop transgressed tge limits of his episcopacy, which may not censor anyone, ever.
@PostCnsumrChris@The_ACNA@ACNAtoo Hey Chris, What about your own Wall of Silence regarding the corruption of your own bishop, Alberto Morales, who falsified his education, and past before he was elected as the Bishop of the Diocese of Quincy?
@ACNAtoo@ChurchRez Sad to read of Amy’s pain, in a complex marriage. Even sorrier to read her labeling Adam as gay, even to their children. Adam himself never self-identified as gay. From Amy’s report, she made no negative contributions to the demise of her marriage. It’s a hematological miracle.
@abbinye@ACNAtoo BTW. At that point, they were not at Rez, I believe they were living in South Dakota. I was not at Rez then. But, Adam and I were friends. Had no idea there was abuse in the marriage.
@ACNAtoo@ChurchRez No one at Rez or RL ever taught that marriage was intended to heal anything, especially unwanted sexual attractions. For all Adam’s issues that appeared in his marriage, the issue of Amy’s new found support for same-sex marriage disturbed him deeply.
