"AMWIK did a study in 2024, where we examined women in prominent positions—including those in media and politics. We found that 1 in 3 women experience sexual violence. TFGBV is further intensified by the widespread availability of digital tools, with online platforms amplifying its reach and impact. Alarmingly, many respondents did not recognize TFGBV as a crime. Instead, survivors are often ridiculed, and the situation is worsened when harmful content is shared and normalized," @QueenterMbori, Executive Director,@AMWIK. @FNF_Kenya@MoICTKenya@MediaCouncilK #MediaWomenConfKE
