Some overdue personal announcements... 1. My contract at @UoMhistdept expired at the beginning of this month. I had a great year there and learned so much. I'll definitely miss my fantastic colleagues!
After two months of job searching, I finally have some good news: I just started my new job as Quality and Data Specialist @DUcollege. I'll be using data and analytics to improve learning experiences and shape higher ed strategy. Really excited for the new challenge!
@clare_copley @UoMhistdept Thanks, Clare, that's very kind! It is an exciting move, and I feel really good about it. I'm not completely disappearing either, so let's stay in touch!
@LewRyder @UoMhistdept Thanks Lewis, that's very kind of you! You did a fantastic job, so there wasn't much I had to as CUD! Wishing you all the best for the future as well
First time in seven years that I'm not teaching at the start of a semester, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that all of you stay safe and manage to navigate the chaos!
3. This is probably the end of the road in academia for me, at least for now. Looking to apply my experience in EdTech, L&D or research/analytics roles, so if you know of any opportunities, let me know!
