To put this another way.

50.1% of NC voted for Democrats to control the NC Senate and Republican gerrymandering gave Republicans 60% of the seats.

51.1% of NC voted for Democrats to control the NC State House and Republican gerrymandering gave Republicans 59% of the seats.

That’s a Republican supermajority in the Senate and a one seat margin for @JoshStein_ in the State House. So if just one out of 49 Democrats in the House decides to override Stein’s veto then Republicans will have total control on any legislation (including the budget) in the #NCGA.
