WOW. Can’t believe I’m about to say this but the Lib Dem’s and Labour in Portsmouths council meeting tonight voted AGAINST asking the government to stop anymore boat arrivals on the shores of our area and voted AGAINST condemning violence.

None of the news reporters could believe what just happened. I don’t understand what just happened

But the fact of the matter is Lib Dem’s and Labour in Portsmouth do not support a strong stance against more boats arriving here. No matter what spin they give you

✈️ Airbus is investing £150m and creating almost 500 new jobs at its wing manufacturing plant in Broughton. The aerospace giant is accelerating its global industrial strategy by converting its former A380 wing production facility into an A321 line.

🚗 McLaren Automotive is investing £500m and creating 1,000 jobs across its UK sites. The largest financial commitment in the company's history will ensure all future McLarens are British-built.

🚂 Derby's Alstom site has been awarded contracts worth more than £1 billion to build and maintain a new fleet of trains for TransPennine Express. The huge order is set to support around 350 jobs in Derby and more than 5,500 roles across the UK's supply chain.
