I’m here to ensure that Republicans win up & down the ballot this November,
but I won’t stop talking about the SAVE America Act.
It’s the number 1 issue voters care about.
🚨 TACO TUESDAY SECURITY UPDATE 🌮🐾
During our weekly walk to the local L.A. taco truck, Chico asked the question shaking the nation:
“Marco… will @POTUS rename it Burger Tuesday?”
Relax, Chico! Presidents come and go—but Taco Tuesday is sacred. Some traditions are simply too delicious to change by executive order! 🇺🇸😂

.@Republicans are set to DEFY HISTORY this November!
The action kicks off TOMORROW in DALLAS!
Over 100 speakers will be sharing how President Trump and Republicans have delivered HISTORIC WINS for the American people since January 2025.
Republicans are gathering in Dallas this week for the first national midterm convention in party history, a two-day event conceived by President Donald Trump to energize supporters and showcase the administration’s record less than two months before the November 3 elections.
The gathering runs Wednesday and Thursday, September 9–10, at the American Airlines Center. Unlike traditional nominating conventions held in presidential years, it features no votes, platform fights, or candidate selections. Organizers describe it as a primetime rally and policy showcase designed to highlight tax cuts, border enforcement, manufacturing, healthcare changes, and a contrast with Democrats, whom speakers are expected to portray as extreme.
Trump floated the idea last year, arguing the party underperforms in midterms when he is not on the ballot. The Republican National Committee changed its rules in January to allow the unusual midterm event. RNC Chairman Joe Gruters has called it a “Trumpapalooza.” Democrats considered a similar gathering but dropped the idea.
The American Airlines Center in Dallas will host the two-night event.
Speakers and Program
President Trump is scheduled to appear both nights. According to the official convention schedule, Vice President JD Vance will deliver the Wednesday night keynote, while Trump headlines Thursday. Other announced speakers include Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Attorney General Todd Blanche, CMS Administrator Mehmet Oz, HUD Secretary Scott Turner, former White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, Donald Trump Jr., House Speaker Mike Johnson, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, Sen. Ted Cruz, and Texas Senate nominee Ken Paxton.
Programming runs roughly 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET each night and includes more than 100 segments. Themes cover working-family tax relief (including no tax on tips, overtime, and Social Security), waste and fraud reduction, healthcare affordability and the “Make America Healthy Again” agenda, border security, trade and reshoring, education and parental rights, public safety, and congressional ethics such as a stock-trading ban. Each night features a candidate showcase for competitive House and Senate races. Thursday includes a 9/11 remembrance with first-responder families (the eve of the 25th anniversary) and a tribute to conservative activist Charlie Kirk on the one-year anniversary of his death.
Organizers expect 20,000 to 30,000 attendees over two days. The event, funded by Republican donors, is projected to cost more than $40 million.
Stakes and Headwinds
Control of both the House and Senate is on the line. A Democratic takeover would constrain Trump’s remaining two years in office. Historically, the president’s party loses seats in midterms. Trump’s approval rating recently stood at 33 percent in Reuters/Ipsos polling, the lowest of his second term, amid concerns over living costs and the war in Iran. Some party insiders have expressed worry about turnout at the convention itself. Speaker Mike Johnson noted that many lawmakers, including those in tight races, will stay in their districts as early voting approaches.
Republicans plan to argue that the election is a choice between their record and what they call Democratic extremism or socialism, pointing to left-wing primary winners. Critics, including the Democratic National Committee, call the event a distraction from kitchen-table issues.
Holding the convention in Texas also spotlights the state’s competitive Senate race between Republican Ken Paxton and Democrat James Talarico. Several Texas officials and candidates are on the program.

"Mamdani, do us all a favor and just stay home!"
Catholic League President Bill Donohue unloads on Mayor Zohran Mamdani over his past remarks about 9/11, calling him a "disgrace to veterans" and telling him to stay away from the upcoming 25th anniversary memorial ceremony.
Donohue joins families of 9/11 victims to call for Mamdani to skip Friday's memorial ceremony.

Did you know street vendors are legal in CA? That’s why L.A. is turning into a third world city. 😔
We agree with @SteveHiltonx: “We’ve become a state where if you do the right thing, you are punished. If you do the wrong thing, you are rewarded.”
During our visit to East L.A., we saw vendor after vendor selling everything from food to shoes along the streets. It does not have to be this way.
PLEASE DO NOT SIT OUT THIS ELECTION!
