We at Talawa are heartbroken at the passing of our friend Josephine Melville, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Our thoughts and condolences go out to her family and friends.
So here it is. Second play of the Edinburgh Fringe to get my rarely-awarded outstanding rating.
The Land of Lost Content by Henry Madd. Two friends who've been through so much in a rural town plagued with deprivations and, worse, boredom. Bring hankies. https://t.co/x8LMekiLY9
Loved Henry Maddicott's Land of Lost Content @ThePleasance this morning. Beautifully written autobiographical tale of growing up, sustained by alcohol, in a small English town.
A glorious review posted as soon as they get out of the show!๐๐๐๐ @content_land
โI never doubted at any point the believability of these characters and the vulnerability that stopped them doing more when things mattered the most. You must see this โ but bring the hankiesโ

@jamesmackblack You need to see the absolutely beautiful The Land of Lost Content at Pleasance and the brilliant Twisted Tales also at Pleasance. Made in India/Britain is also amazing! Also Fladam over at the EICC is an absolutely charming bit of work!
Just now caught the fantastic The Land of Lost Content in Bunker One and it has emotionally devastated me. A beautiful poetic bit of theatre, with village life at the heart of it!
