When you're having a rough day & your lesson isn't going the way you had planned, take ownership of your frustration. Share w/ your Ss how you feel & explain to them your plan to work through it. Being authentic in your struggle can sometimes be the best lesson. #SEL #modeling

In the process, I made her cry.

Straight “A” student prior to the pandemic shared struggles during remote-learning and excitement of returning to school. Same class, another student preferred remote-learning due to SEL. We really need to rethink schooling to meet the needs of all students! @Southernarea1
