@ChrisWrightDC @SalNeslusan @austinfilmfest@NickGambino1 I’m in DC too! And was in Austin with a couple 2nd Rounders (I met you briefly). We should all do a DC hangout sometime.
Not only did I have a couple of 2nd Rounders, but I just got an email saying that one of them was considered for the semifinals. Beyond excited! Thank you @austinfilmfest#aff#screenwriting
Beyond excited to be a Maven Screen Media fellowship finalist for my TV drama OUT THERE. Thank you @StoweStoryLabs and congrats to all my fellow finalists!
@Vitagene_DNA@myvitagene I’ve been trying to check my son’s COVID test results since Weds but only get an error message. There’s no phone number to call for help and no one’s returned my emails. No negative result=no sleepaway camp. HELP!
@LorraineAmbers You’re not the only one! My husband’s just not a big reader. But he’s a great person to toss ideas around with as I write and he asks questions that get me thinking about the story in a deeper way.
An actress that I have loved forever who I sent my screenplay to liked it and wants to talk directors and I’m so freaking excited that I felt like I had to have a martini. OK two. Or should I make it three? #screenwriting
DC is more than Capitol Hill and the White House. It’s a place where people live. It’s Piscataway land, it’s Chocolate City (forever), home of go-go and mambo sauce, Salvadoran food and Little Ethiopia. It’s DC residents and workers who are bearing the burden of this moment.
@TheEmilyBlake Yup. And they’re only in the story to have sex with people. I think you might have read the same one I did for a lab last year. I could visual the man writing it while living in his mom’s basement... at age 45... and thinking it was the best thing ever written. 🤮
