Very proud of these young men. In order to play tomorrow, they worked their tails off preparing and recovering a field that was pretty tore up from a rain soaked game last night!
PERFECTION! Zach Luma throws a 5 inning perfect game facing the minimum and striking out 6 as the Polar Bears win over Willard 11-0. Outstanding fielding behind him as well. Great Effort!!
A walk off is always a good feeling. Zach Luma also threw a 3 hitter and struck out 6 while only giving up 1 and walk. Great fielding, great pitching, and timely hitting helps put W’s in the correct column.
Congrats to Margaretta Baseball and Spencer Michel’s walk-off base hit scoring Bryce Graffin to give the Polar Bears a 2-1 victory over the visiting Oak Harbor Rockets.
Notice the bat angle right before the swing. Lots of movement prior to swing, but that is all a timing motion. Key is where the bat is frozen right before the time of swing!!!
20 runs, 19 hits and a 20-8 win over Oak Harbor highlighted by 8 RBI’s, a 2 run HR and in the same inning a Grand Slam BOMB for #5 Tallen Kennedy. Great outing by Dylan Popke allowing 6 hits but none in innings 2-6. Great job gentlemen.
