Recently, during my friend's PhD thesis defense, she was told that the Kulinkovich reaction is the only thing for which Belarus is known within the civilized Western chemical society. Well...😅
The most valuable part of the 10euro magnetic stirrer, bought on Amazon, is its packaging. One bottle of "Old Tbilisi", acrylic paints from Tiger, and voila!
