“I’ve got a rocket scientist in my squad, people on NHS frontline, a young player about to pass an engineering degree. The stories behind my athletes show really special people, strong women, role models. For the next title sponsor, that’s a joy” https://t.co/6zRsqVh82n

“I felt like I needed two years to get back into the swing of things, let alone forty odd days." Big thanks to @EmilyScarratt on giving her thoughts about women's sevens players eyeing both the Tokyo Olympics and the 2021 @rugbyworldcup in NZ https://t.co/HCC3wOoqIo
@ChristaHerrman@ScrumQueens I can only second this, although I am convinced that it is not only a financial issue, the whole #Olympic qualification system needs to be revised (it clearly only works on paper), and the competition rules (eligibility in the non-Olympic years). Just heard that over 500,000 people watched our World Rugby Kitakyushu 7s tournament last weekend on @cbcsports
Revealing article by @KateLouiseRowan says expansion of @WorldRugby7s was due to pressure from sponsor @HSBC. Fascinating quotes from HSBC about value of women's sport to a blue chip company.
