It was Victoria’s last post. Ukraine’s best literary voices, a brave person, a dear friend and a loving mother died yesterday after a russian missile attack on Kramatorsk on 27 June. She was severely injured and doctors were helpless. It is a loss for Ukraine and the world.

Two autoportraits: Fedir Krychevsky, and Tetiana Yablonska. Master and student. He made his portrait in 1924, after war between the Ukrainian people's republic and the bolsheviks. She made it in 1946 after WW2, and year before, Krychevsky died of starvation, repressed by soviets

'Family,' 1918 by Maria Syniakova (1890-1984), a famous Ukrainian Avangard artist. In 1918 she lived in her family house in the village of Krasna Polyana, Kharkiv region, where she was born. It became the center of Avangard art.
