The boys has turned into a Netflix/CW show like Gen V did. They add in bits of shock value gore and vulgar here and there to act like they're different, but the dialogue, character motivations, and plot have deteriorated so much from what this show used to be.

The books show a more old school approach to characters like this. Where abusers are easily humanized and the abused are forced to show inhuman levels of forgiveness. The show is much more realistic and better writing

I love the writing here. Nolan came in with such a good apology that it might have tricked even the audience, but not debbie. She saw right through it, kept pressing him , and eventually exposed the apology as self serving. Nolans journey to redemption is not over yet

I always thought conquests death was one of the dumbest things in the comic because if he could pierce marks stomach / spine why didn't he just chop his arms off
