Poet. Scottish Book Trust New Writers Awardee 2017.
Made in Barra, live in Uist. Like the sea and the sunsets over Colombiere, writing and all things Gaidhlig.
@LesleyRiddoch I noticed she shut down every reference to the SNP throughout the programme. ' We will talk about that later ' There is such a lack of depth in the reporting. The journalists have almost all said that all the parties were, ' playing politics'. Easy to say but any evidence?
@mogibarra I can endorse that. The best thing ever. It is more than just a prize. You enter a supported journey of learning about writing, publishing and performing. Also you meet great writers, like Mogibarra.
@IaganBarra My heart is always heavy going past the castle and watching Castlebay shrinking. I close my eyes to try to keep it in my mind because a picture is never quite enough.
@CatrionaBlack I was lucky enough to get a visit with 2 pupils who won a public speaking award some years ago. Quite an experience. So sad that we are out of all that.
@NicUalraig I watched the choir version but the Gàidhlig was so unclear. It could have been Swahili. The only word I made out was, 'Agus' pronounced A- Gus. (By them)
@NicUalraig It comes about 2 thirds if the way through the Coronation. Actually I thought the Veni Creator Spiritus had already been translated into Gàidhlig. It appears in the Hymn book Seinnibh dhan Tighearna, p 33. With the title O Thig a-Nuas a Spioraid Naoimh.
