@JacquiDeevoy1 It really depends on your NHS trust, the gp practice’s policy and how they manage the appointments. A waiting room can be quiet but they can be doing phone appointments, referrals, house calls, marking results, signing prescriptions, reading mail and dealing with emergencies.
