NINA ID 252463 is added to the kill list for June 20th. The ridiculous reason: Jumping and leash biting. They pulled the behavior card to kill a 4 year old healthy family dog. Again. We need to stop them‼️
Nina, mother to her strawberry shortcake baby 🥹 and knowing army crawling (see vid in the poster) is over 60 days locked there. She was dumped because her family moved out of country. She’s gentle, affectionate, loves car rides and peanut butter, is good with older kids, neutral to other dogs, friendly with visitors. URGENT: Today Could Be Mammas' Last Day

SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS - Mammas is at City of San Antonio Animal Care Services and is scheduled for euthanasia today if a rescue, foster, or adopter does not step forward in time. Her shelter ID is A802946.

Mamma is a 2-year-old Shepherd mix who has been at the shelter for only 8 days. Staff describe her as friendly, easy to handle, and eager to connect with people. Shelter notes repeatedly mention her loose, wiggly body and wagging tail. She was also observed interacting appropriately with other dogs in playgroup.

Eight days should not be a death sentence.

Mamma deserves more time. She deserves a chance to decompress outside the shelter and show who she truly is in a home environment.
