so instead of showing the world cup opening ceremony i expect the bbc crew to give everyone watching a lecture about ethics and human rights like they did in 2022
This is about you hijacking our politics to send our taxpayer money to a foreign government to conduct genocide and apartheid while the children in our own country go without basic healthcare and good schools.
THAT’S what this is about.
Report @TheAthleticFC
There’s been a lot of public money spent in the US towards this World Cup.
Here’s a mad one: the $25.8m spent by Kansas City to get a jail ready for the World Cup, only for it not to be ready by the World Cup…

🚨🇮🇱 Thomas Massie CONFIRMS Israel used NAPALM on the USS Liberty.
34 Americans were burned alive, skin boiling from their bodies, after the IDF dropped Napalm on the unarmed ship.
He confirmed this yesterday in the U.S. Congress.
Russia 2018 gave fans a FAN ID that allowed visa-free entry. Qatar 2022 used Hayya as an entry permit. China, where I live, constantly framed as “closed”, now gives visa-free access to dozens of countries and even lets Americans transit for 10 days visa-free.
But the US? It still sells the world’s game, creates a “FIFA PASS” that only speeds up visa interviews but won’t let the BEST African referee (voted last year by FIFA) into the country. Even still says a valid visa does not guarantee entry.
Omar Artan would have been the first Somali official at a men’s World Cup..years of merit were erased by one opaque “vetting concern” at a Miami airport with no explanation at all.
So far at the 2026 FIFA Epstein Cup before a ball kicked:
- Senegal & Uzbekistan squads treated like criminals upon arrival given full cavity searches;
- Africa’s best referee sent back to Somalia despite having a diplomatic passport;
- Iraq team photographer sent back despite valid visa;
- AIPS (international sport journalist association) calling on FIFA to sort out unacceptable visa issues of African & Iranian journalists;
- 90% of Moroccan fans with tickets denied entry
- 14 members of Iran backroom staff denied visas
Not a word from Gianni ”today I feel black/gay/disabled etc” Infantino.
Texas farmer donated land for a public park — city sold it to a DATA CENTER for $10M
The Bland family deeded 88 acres as parkland 'for kids to play,' but after several ownership swaps, it was sold to build an AI slop facility
When one of the most respected referees in world football is refused entry by the host nation, because they don't like his home country, the correct response of the other referees should be to boycott the tournament unless he is allowed to do his job. Sadly, that won't happen.
What an absolute disgrace. A FIFA-certified referee being denied entry to the United States purely because he is Somali.
The World Cup is meant to bring people together. This is racism, plain and simple. Shameful.

This is utter bullshit. When Indonesia refused to grant the Israeli under 17 team visa’s for the 2023 U-20 World Cup, FIFA stripped Indonesia’s hosting rights and moved it to Argentina. So @FIFAcom can stop with the lies.
South Africa, Germany and other recent #WorldCup hosts were forced by FIFA to promise all accredited officials, players and staff would be guaranteed visas and minimal immigration interference for the tournament duration.
Why is the United States exempt from that @FIFAcom?
@ahchoen It really does seem like for FIFA both Israel and the U.S. are the exceptions. Political interference is only a problem when the wrong countries do it.
Iranian Football Federation announces the 8% ticket quota allocated to Iran has been revoked by the U.S., leaving the federation currently unable to distribute tickets to supporters.
A case study in political interference, discrimination and FIFA looking the other way.
