Most investors spend 80% of their energy on asset selection.

And 20% on position sizing.

The optimal ratio is probably the reverse.

Being right about an asset but sizing it at 1% of your portfolio barely moves the needle.
Being right about an asset and sizing it at 20% is life-changing.

Conviction without appropriate sizing is just a good opinion.
