“Let’s get some fresh air and let the music decant a little bit.”
I’ve many thoughts about @opusmovie but what a piece of art in its most flawless form.
#AyoEdibiri’s Ariel Eckton is a masterclass in nuance.
“The Tragedy of Billie” tho? Wow.
Bravo @Mark_A_Green@A24 🥂🙌🏾
“Opus” director Mark Anthony Green dropped some priceless advice for first-time filmmakers at the Sundance premiere of his flashy pop-horror debut. And yes, that’s the voice of the legendary John Malkovich! Don’t miss “Opus”, now playing in theaters.
“Has the way we’ve chosen our leaders failed us?”
Had the most delightful convo w/ @Mark_A_Green abt his directorial debut OPUS for @ebertvoices. Read on for thoughts abt making movies for the freaks, the power of disconnection, & lacing thematic medicine w/ genre honey. Link ⬇️
Spike Lee didn't directly contribute to Mark Anthony Green's #Opus, but the former GQ editor turned filmmaker still thanked Lee in his closing credits: "Spike Lee fought for me to make 'Opus' whether he ever sees the film or references the film" https://t.co/Ow3ZpHabZJ

Opus is a future cult classic (pun very much intended)! Thank you @atlfilmsociety and @A24 for the special preview screening of @opusmovie tonight. This subversive film is well done and is a must see. The director and @Morehouse grad @Mark_A_Green also gave an intro and Q&A.
It was lovely to hear @Mark_A_Green chat about his movie Opus at @musicboxtheatre!
Opus is an eerie Willy Wonkaesque dive into the dark side of fame. John Malkovich is delightfully bizarre, and Ayo Edebiri is exceptional. 🎵🔪 #OpusMovie#horror
So glad .@VanLathan finally said something about people constantly trying to compare Ayo’s trajectory to white women of the past! The convo with Mark Anthony Green was so necessary
