Regarding the @BBCr4today story today, axolotls featured in a poem which originally appeared in MAD magazine in 1958, parodying Wordsworth’s ‘Daffodils’. https://t.co/bLYrFarok4
@kev83mav@efc_fanservices Mine’s been the same. And the kick off time changes to the time you refresh it at each time you try to refresh it! Fingers crossed we can all get in tonight!
BREAKING: Music legend Bruce Springsteen just released this incredible song that will be sure to piss Trump off beyond belief.
“Streets of Minneapolis”.
He wrote this song about Alex Pretti and Renée Good Saturday and recorded it yesterday.
Share it far and wide and play it as loud as you can
@ALANMYERSMEDIA Pleased to hear this. I have to say I think it’s a huge shame that the west terrace has been closed to us so far. It was one of the big attractions of the site for me.
Today marks 4 heartbreaking years since Jack’s sad passing.
His legacy lives on as we encourage you all to consider registering as potential lifesaving stem cell donors.
It takes about 3 minutes, & you could actually save a life.
Everyone can RT 💙

@ALANMYERSMEDIA Best of luck to you, Alan. You’ll enjoy it, I’m sure. Just remember to build in lots of time for you and your family. You’ve earned it!
@SusanLeeJourno Not just me then. Once did it on the rare but coveted red bus, going from the Pier Head to visit my auntie in Litherland. Felt like royalty.
@ALANMYERSMEDIA@SkySportsNews Away on holiday so only just caught up with this news, Alan. Thanks for all the wonderful and insightful Everton coverage over the years. It will be missed, but I hope and trust you won’t be a stranger at BMD! Good luck for the future
@CBeesleyEcho …and he was always great company. He was a wonderful writer as well as a brilliant news reporter. Very sorry for your loss, and please give my deepest sympathies to Chloe, Jean and the family
@CBeesleyEcho A lovely story about a lovely man, Chris. I sat opposite him at the Echo for a couple of weeks in 1976 when I had just started there and he was crime reporter. I’ll never forget his kindness and patient help. Met him many times on jobs when he was on the Mail and I was at PA…
@AntMill5@TonyBellew We were a point above the drop zone and playing awful football when he arrived. It took him weeks to take away the very real fear that we might go down just as we move to the new stadium. And almost immediately he had us playing more enjoyable football after a grim few months.
@LCRMayor@EvertonStadium The stadium is fantastic, Steve, but there is no room for complacency about the transport arrangements. It is horribly difficult for fans. As a priority, can you please look at measures to ease the traffic congestion so shuttle buses and taxis can run more quickly?
