118. Sword Art Online Progressive 004 - Scherzo of Deep Night ✅️
Liked getting more insight on the formation of laughing coffin. Idk how much they can really do with POH here (cause of the OG series), but I'm at least interested in Morte.
7.5/10
117. Clamp School Detectives ✅️
I vastly preferred this to Man of Many Faces tbh. (Ik I should've read them around the same time) Funnily enough I think the first chapter was my favorite, the tale with the old lady was quite sweet. I also liked the flashback chapter.
5.5/10
@XxJTJ7xX All of them are extremely flawed, but the LN version of Occultic;Nine's protagonist is the only one I feel they go super hard on making unlikable again like Takumi. (Though the others definitely have their low moments too)
Last day of pride, so I'll give a shout out to this lovely series which helped me learn that my life could be so much better if I lived life to the fullest. shits bleak but such is life. happy pride y'all 🏳️⚧️
@emiya_valentine@LZwei_ Maybe, but I doubt most of these people play Melty, or read the Teach Me Ciel-Senpai segments, or watch Carnival Phantasm so the obsession still seems weird to me lol. Not saying there's nothing to like about Neko-Arc, but it's just a bit odd imo.
I'm halfway through the Scherzo of Deep Night LN and I don't know how tf this was turned into a movie without Kizmel and the Morte plotline being built up beforehand. Like what are they even adapting at that point?
actually the last thing ill say about the grid is that i think people put too much weight on how characters are used when they continue appearing after their original arc. idk why not having as much to do in a supporting role post personal arc should = terribly written altogether
