Kill Nigerians, Kill Nigerian Soldiers. Get Captured by the Military. Instead of Being Executed or Jailed for Life in a SuperMax Guantanamo Bay type Prison. APC Gathers these Killers. Makes them swear by the Quran Not to Kill, Rob & Steal again then Sets them Free. Imagine. ๐คฌ
The fact that we accepted to paying 1300 naira for a litre of fuel is why they will increase it.
The fact that we accepted to paying 2400 naira per kg of gas is why they will increase it.
For every bad policy we adjust to, more will surely come.
Omo! Do you people know how insane it is for terrorists to kidnap a retired general, kill him and then return his body in a handover ceremony where they took pictures knowing they'd leave unchallenged?
Do you people know what kind of trouble we are in?
A time is coming in this country when bandits will no longer need to hide in forests, or massively attack a community at night, or wait on highways to abduct innocent travelers.
Very soon, they will have designated districts, offices, and collection agents. They will operate openly, moving from house to house to pick up people whose families failed to pay the compulsory โBandits Feeโ imposed on every household in communities.
Once you pay the fee, you will be issued a ticket or clearance pass as proof of payment. Anyone found without one will be considered a defaulter and dealt with accordingly. This will be their way of playing fair. It could even be framed as a strange kind of collaboration with the government, where instead of random kidnappings of innocent people or schoolchildren, pressure should redirected toward defaulters who failed to pay the monthly or weekly bandit fee.
This may sound absurd for now, but the frightening thing about insecurity is that it grows in stages. Many things Nigerians once thought impossible have gradually become our reality today.
That's a fraudster and an ex-convict.
