The old floor panels have been removed, and the space is now being prepared for painting as we continue the renovations at Markaz ʿUthmān ibn ʿAffān.

Based on the quotes and estimates we have received so far, we are setting an estimated Phase Two fundraising goal of $12,500.

This phase will cover painting, new carpet and installation for both musallās, new baseboards and trim, a new door between the brothers’ and sisters’ musallā areas, and the remaining finishing work needed for this stage. The brothers will be handling the painting themselves, alḥamdulillāh, which will help us save significantly on labor.

We hope to raise the needed amount as soon as possible so the work can continue without unnecessary delays and we can stay on track toward opening, in shāʾ Allāh.

Our first project is to relocate the existing wall that divides the brothers’ and sisters’ musallā areas. The current placement of the wall does not provide enough space for the brothers, especially for Jumuʿah, seminars, and larger gatherings. Moving it will provide the additional space needed while maintaining a dedicated and private musallā for the sisters.

The total cost of this first phase is $7,500.

Please help us establish a Islamic center in the Tampa Bay area dedicated to the worship of Allāh and calling to the Qurʾān and authentic Sunnah upon the understanding of the Salaf.
