@GarlicFryRy@SFGiants That's why Arraez and Ray are being shopped. Let everyone have an opening to get a conversation started about someone else. Unless, you'd prefer Posey starts this road trip by acknowledging they're openly shopping Webb and opening himself up to low ball offers. 2/2
@GarlicFryRy@SFGiants The Giants don't have to shop Webb. All they need is some team to blow them away with a trade offer. Posey is also saying this before the series with the Braves, who would be a strong suitor for Webb. Never cede ground before any high stakes negotiation. 1/2
@giantssfcentral Devers isn't pulling the ball and swinging at would-be ball four's out of the zone. Yet, he still has found ways to produce. Think with Eldridge and Chapman producing, Devers is the perfect clean-up hitter.
@SFGSplashTakes YES! Webb is healthy and dominating at the right time to force another team to significantly overpay in any trade. If Mason Miller is worth Leo De Vries, then Webb should be worth more to a contender as a true staff ace.
@C2Cbsbl You know what, it's fine to be bad, since this franchise has been mostly bandaids and superglue with the construction of its rosters for the last 30 years. The only real way to compete against the Dodgers is to build a stellar farm system.
@SFGSplashTakes I don't think Flora's on the Giants' radar any longer. If they do go with a pitcher, it'll likely be Gio Rojas due to the projectability and fastball/slider combo. Think there's concern about how Flora's breaking pitches will translate to the pro level.
@sfgiantfutures The Giants have always liked Crawford's leadership abilities and positive attitude. Give him a chance to develop, now that he can't be exposed to the Rule 5 draft. Maybe the organization views him as an extra coach.
@bryarea It's almost like working with Manse, Washington, and Vitello has made Eldridge a better player. Yet, people still want to be petty and bring things up that no longer apply.
@AngieGfans@AngieMGriffin I'm boycotting the World Cup. All the B.S. Trump and FIFA have pulled in the last few months shouldn't be accepted or normalized.
@BaseballJeff1 The draft was altered the last time the CBA was negotiated and a shift to a hard salary cap would literally eliminate the big/small market comp system, since the luxury tax would be abolished.
