[Completed] Darkside Detective : I adore a point and click, the LucasArts era was a turning point in PC gaming, and this lives up to that with some tight humour and a beautiful retro feel. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Never could work out their crypto model for keeping afloat, but had an absolute blast on this platform. Made front page a few times, and donated more lemons than I can count.

UT2004 : It's been a long time since I visited this classic map. Original Unreal looked great, but Quake played better, until we hit Unreal Tournament vs Q3 - and then then tables sharply turned. How great is it that the fandom still exists so much that Epic has let them do this.

... at least that is until you get to the third act. Spec'ing yourself out with max speech makes a much more satisfying experience. Glad I played it to the end, but wouldn't want to revisit.

[Completed] Outer Worlds 2 : OW1 managed to walk a great line between the serious tone of Starfield and the whacky world of Borderlands making it one of the more enjoyable games of last year. Unfortunately OW2 just feels like a lesser version of the first title ⭐⭐⭐

My Silent Hill always exists in the fog and the ash and with Harry trying to find Cheryl.
It’s crazy that years later that when I hear the siren sound my skin still crawls and I have to check behind me for ... something.
In my restless dreams, I see that town ... Silent Hill

Silent Hill exists as a place and time and memory and while this is central tenant of the game its is equally as true IRL for me. The time is early 2000. The place our first home and the memory walking down that first alley, the sky gets dark and the siren starts to wail.

I watched the latest film in the series last night and it’s based on Silent Hill 2 which has always had this massively praised plot. It was never my favourite and I think the same is of the film. It does a great job replicating the plot and feel - but it’s not MY Silent Hill.

Division 2 : Ever get so frustrated with a boss you want to toss the controller at the screen ?
Recently for me it's been this guy - you have to knock all his armour, but he's weak underneath. One misplaced shot too many and he dies

Spent the evening messing with my mic, trying a small rode shotgun mic to get some distance from my face. SS Sonar seems great for EQing it, but wish i could get wavelink3 installed

[Completed] Minecraft : Since 2008 (roughly) I've been playing this with my kids - through multiple servers, worlds, versions, and builds. Such a simple game with such huge potential. Today, finally, with the youngest two we teamed up to beat the Ender Dragon. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
