[New Role]
Had my first Board Meeting as a new Non Executive Director with Lolliland.
What a great group of capable people, who have made me feel like part of the team from day one.
[New Role]
Proud to have been appointed Chair of the Advisory Board for Springmount Services Pty Ltd.
A large and complex organisation with some exceptional people.
25 years ago I joined an organisation I knew nothing about; YPO !
A wonderful man, whom I respected enormously, acquired the company I was leading and opened up many opportunities for a young gun leader.
Charles Parsons put me through and MBA, and let me run his group of companies in New Zealand.
He also said I HAD to join YPO Australia/New Zealand, HAD to join a Forum, HAD to go to every event, HAD to say YES to anything they asked me to do.
Despite my concerns of it being a cult like club, my experience was completely rewarding. Great people and the start of a life long journey. My YES to everything mandate opened up some wonderful opportunities to serve and learn.
I ended up being a Forum Office in three Chapters, served on the ANZ Regional Board four times, help start a YPO Gold Chapter, received a Global Best of the Best Award, became in International Facilitator, ran some Global Leadership Conference Programs and am now YPO Emeritus Ambassador.
I have received far far far more than I have given. @YPO is a wonderful organisation full of passionate capable leaders helping each other to lead well and live well.
So grateful for Charles' opening up the opportunity and to God for His grace, mercy and unmerited favour.
Great to be back in Adelaide this week to facilitate some YPO events.
Supercharged two excellent Forums and introduced some new Members and Partners to YPO Forum.
Hosted by the awesome crew at the Arkaba Hotel.
Always a pleasure to facilitate for YPO.
This time in Sydney at the stunning W Hotels site.
It was the Australia and New Zealand Regional Moderators Summit.
Investing in great moderators creates great Forums and sustainable Chapters. @ypoaunz@YPO
Traditional strategic planning is struggling to keep up.
AI, technology, customers, and markets are moving faster than most leadership teams can plan for.
In this Lead Well Live Well conversation, Mark Bilton speaks with Aidan Nuttall about why leaders need to move from static plans to strategic action, faster learning cycles, and better team alignment.
If your organisation is trying to lead through uncertainty, this conversation is worth your time.

Word of mouth is valuable.
But it is not the whole business.
Sophie puts it simply: word of mouth is the cream on top of the cake. You still need the cake.
For many entrepreneurs and leaders, that means learning how to package, price, market, and clearly communicate the value of what they do.
Capability is not enough if people cannot understand the problem you solve.
The offer matters.
The message matters.
The structure matters.

A business should not take over the life it was meant to support.
Real growth gives you more room to be present, lead well, and live with purpose.
#leadership#businessgrowth#leadwelllivewell
A business should not become something you need to recover from.
That line is worth sitting with.
Too many leaders build growth at the cost of presence, family, health, or peace.
Sophie’s approach challenges the usual hustle narrative. Build the business around the life you value, not the other way around.
Hard work matters.
But so do boundaries, intention, and knowing what you are actually building for.
#businessgrowth #leadership #sustainablegrowth #leadwelllivewell
There is a moment many leaders recognise.
You know what you have built is good, but you also know it cannot carry you into the life or business you want next.
That moment can feel frustrating because the desire is clear, but the path is not.
Sophie’s reflection is powerful because change often begins with one internal decision:
“I will not stay here.”
Not all the answers.
Just the decision to move.

Most people are not stuck because they lack ability.
They are stuck because what is familiar feels safer than what is possible.
Growth often starts when you become willing to leave the version of life, leadership, or business that no longer fits where you are meant to go.
Comfort protects.
But it rarely transforms.
#leadership #personalgrowth #businessgrowth #leadwelllivewell
Wanting something different is one thing.
Feeling safe enough to become the person who creates it is another.
Sometimes the current version of you feels familiar, even when it no longer fits where you are called to go.
#identityshift#leadershipgrowth#personaldevelopment #faithandwork #mondaymovement
Most people do not stay stuck because they lack strategy.
They stay stuck because the identity required for the next level still feels unfamiliar.
Growth is not only about learning what to do. It is about becoming the person who feels safe enough to do it.
#leadership #identity #personalgrowth #businessgrowth #mondaymovement
A strategy can look excellent on paper and still fail in practice.
Why?
Because growth is not only about what you plan. It is also about who you believe you are becoming as a leader.
In my conversation with Sophie Musumeci, we explored why identity often sits underneath business growth, decision-making, and the ability to step into a new season.
Strategy matters.
But identity often determines whether you actually move.
#leadership #businessgrowth #identityshift #leadwelllivewell
You can have the strategy, the skills, and the ambition…
and still feel stuck.
Why?
Because sometimes the real barrier is not what you know.
It is who you believe you are allowed to become.
In this Lead Well Live Well conversation, Mark Bilton sits down with Sophie Musumeci of Real Entrepreneur Women to talk about identity, business, leadership, family, and what it really takes to step into a new season.
If you have ever felt pulled toward something more but unsure why you keep holding back, this conversation is worth your time.
