Bill Maher reveals he accepted an invitation to appear in a documentary about Charlie Kirk.
He then dropped a surprising take on the late conservative leader that’s going to upset a lot of his liberal fans.
MAHER: “By the way, they’re doing a documentary and they asked if I would be in it.”
“They said...the other people they said are in it already are all hard right-wingers.”
“I said, yes, I’m giving them five minutes after my taping Friday night because...and I told them, don’t expect me to be just saying, you know, hagiography about Charlie.”
“I liked him as a person, I’m glad I talked to him.”
“I do not think he was a monster and if you look at...his statements, I’ve read the full statements.”
“Of course, because everybody is only interested in getting points for their team, they mischaracterized them.”
“But even when I read the full statement, which were accurately characterized, I still disagreed with them but it wasn’t what they presented.”
“Again, it’s always in the middle.”
“It wasn’t as bad as they said, but I still disagreed.”
“My little motto here is, everybody’s a monster till you talk to them.”
Fox News’ Will Cain EXPOSES Karmelo Anthony family spokesperson Dominique Alexander, the leader of the Next Generation Action Network who has a LENGTHY criminal history.
Alexander also CHASTISED Austin Metcalf’s grieving father during a press conference last year where he and others shamelessly ATTACKED the Metcalf family.
Will Cain: “Alexander also happens to have a lengthy rap sheet including felony injury to a child, stealing a car, felony theft, felony assault, evading arrest, and so on.”
“Dominique Alexander’s Next Generation Action Network has gotten funding from the Tides Foundation seeded by none other than George Soros.”
40 years ago this week in Memphis. I had been on WHBQ for a year; my friend Joe Cooper was a local politician whose wife Betsy was running for city council. You could say they had some connections for one of the most memorable fundraisers ever.
As supporters of both families gathered outside the Collin County courthouse, one local pastor delivered a message focused on healing rather than division.
“We have two families — one has lost a son, and one is about to lose a son,” McKinney pastor Lorenzo Henry said. “We got to pray for peace.”
Henry said he came to pray for both the Metcalf and Anthony families as the high-profile trial continues to draw national attention.
