I'm frustrated by the controversy around the Balogan red card reversal is being rejected by others and the integrity of the game is being called into question.
I was at the game.
The foul was not deemed a red card in real time.
VAR was misapplied.
This is the fair outcome.
Sources: President Trump, commerce secretary Howard Lutnick, and White House task force head Andrew Giuliani put together a team of elite lawyers — from outside the government — to challenge the Flo Balogun red card. Specifically they challenged the use of slow motion instant replay to give the red card, which they argued violated FIFA rules. The president also conveyed to Gianni Infantino, FIFA’s president, that the appeal had been filed and he believed the red card penalty was excessive. FIFA’s independent committee reviewed the decision and agreed the penalty was incorrectly given, rescinding it under their rule 27 authority.

@MarkDHansellOH Thanks! I was hoping I didn't suck! LOL. I get it. I do. I'm just not a fan of what modern baseball has become. I understand we've opened Pandora's Box and will never go back. It's a TikTok world and baseball decided to go all in.
Cam - things change, the game progresses- I hate instant replay and believe we should be all robot or all human - but if this sells tickets and gets people into the game I’m willing to go with it. BTW you don’t suck.
The problem here IMO is that this will be the ABS Hot Summer… the game will take a backseat to umps. The loudest cheers at ballgame should not be bad umpiring. If this is MLB way…just get rid of human umps completely.
