Was great to be able to chat with Mark Edge @MarkEdgeShow at the 2026 @bchbliss conference a few weeks ago. Mark is a Bitcoin OG, BCH ally, and via @FreeTalkLive, likely exposed more people in the US to Bitcoin in the early days than any other source at the time. One story being that 'Bitcoin Jesus', @rogerkver, learned about Bitcoin through Mark's show in 2010, which we discussed in our conversation below.

Future generations are going to look back on cases like Ian Freeman's the same way we look back on the prosecution of people for owning gold, escaping slavery, or violating other absurd prohibitions that existed only to protect power.

The LP has always supported that Ian Freeman has been unjustly caged. The only reason delegates did not take up a resolution is due to a crowded convention schedule. That blame should be placed squarely on who designed that.

The LNC has more time and could pass a resolution (though their position is clear and resolutions unless widely published do not do anything). @AlfaShaw66932 perhaps at next meeting introduce one?

The LP tweeted this tweet because I ratioed Caryn Ann Harlos. I appreciate it but it’s really insane I should be begging the authoritarian public to recognize Ian should be pardoned, not begging the “Libertarians”. They turned down a resolution to free Ian and haven’t actually said anything to me about it except CAH called me “assmad” about it
