A grown woman pretends to be a boy in high school to see a 15 year old girl they are trying to date behind the girls parents back.

​School administrators received an anonymous tip reporting an unfamiliar individual loitering near the campus band room and auditorium. Staff reviewed security footage and spotted the individual, but before deputies could intercept, the trespasser slipped away.

​Hours later, during lunch, the same person returned to campus.
​School resource deputies immediately moved in to confront the individual, who initially tried to pass herself off as an enrolled senior, claiming to be 19 years old.

When pressed by officers, the story shifted again to having graduated from another school district entirely. A search of her belongings quickly blew her cover: her ID confirmed she was 21-year-old Dakota, an adult with zero affiliation with the school dressed as a high school boy.

​The investigation into why an adult had sneaked onto campus exposed an even more concerning reality.
​Deputies learned Dakota had driven roughly an hour to find a minor student named Caitlyn.

The two had met online through mutual friends on a group call, maintaining an emotional relationship across Instagram and FaceTime despite having only met in person once before.

Two days prior to the incident, Caitlyn’s father had taken her phone away due to slipping grades. Cut off from all digital contact, Dakota made the desperate calculated decision to show up in person and trespass onto high school grounds twice in a single day to track her down.

​When Caitlyn’s father was called to the school, he made his stance crystal clear—demanding maximum legal charges and immediately moving to secure a full restraining order to keep the adult away from his underage daughter.

When Caitlyn was interviewed by the deputies, you will notice she keeps referring to Dakota as HE. Makes you wonder if she even knew Dakota is a woman.

​Dakota was arrested, searched by a female deputy, and transported to the county jail. She was formally booked and charged with:
​Trespassing on School Grounds
​Knowingly Providing False Information to a Law Enforcement Officer.

​With campus safety under tighter scrutiny than ever, school administrators and resource officers aren't taking any chances with unvetted adults wandering school grounds. It's great to see they are not playing around.

This individual is not right in the head for so many reason. Luckily this was caught early as the way this story played out is often just a beginning story to way worse outcomes. Who knows what this individual was truly capable of
