Private equity firm 3i Group has acquired a majority stake in French nutrition and supplements company Laboratoire Nutergia, purchasing a 51% interest as part of a transaction aimed at accelerating the business’s next phase of growth. Financial terms were not disclosed, although 3i indicated its investment falls within its typical range of €100 million to €150 million.

As part of the deal, the Lagarde family will retain a significant minority stake and continue to play an active role in the business. Nutergia operates a manufacturing facility in France and has established operations in Spain and Belgium, while exporting approximately one-quarter of its production across Europe and Asia.
3i plans to support the company’s growth through deeper market penetration, product innovation, enhanced digital capabilities and international expansion. Key target markets include Spain, Portugal, Belgium and Asia, where demand for premium health and wellness products continues to grow.

B2B events company Hyve Group has agreed to be acquired by private equity firm Hellman & Friedman (H&F) from Providence Equity Partners and Searchlight Capital Partners, marking a new chapter in the company’s growth strategy.

Private equity firm J.C. Flowers has completed the acquisition of the French subsidiary of Italy’s Monte dei Paschi di Siena, marking the finalization of a transaction first agreed in 2025. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The deal follows Monte dei Paschi’s commitment to divest foreign operations under a restructuring plan tied to its state bailout and subsequent reprivatization.
