The average Nigerian politician sees Peter Obi as a direct threat to their source of livelihood. It unsettles them that a man who has conquered greed could step into the arena. Their greatest shock is discovering they cannot dig up dirt on him. That failure is a major blow to their playbook. Hence, the relentless campaign of calumny against him.
Media Framing of Crime Along Ethnic Lines: Divisive.
As an Igbo man, I have endured stereotypes, judgment, and labelling solely based on my ethnic origins. This is not an isolated Igbo experience. Most Nigerians have, at some point, been reduced to their ethnicity rather than recognised for their true character.
I understand the pain of the ordinary Fulani man today, often unfairly judged by the actions of criminals he does not support, has never met, and who are not representative of his people.
Even in America, such unjust labelling fueled the civil rights movement and prompted Martin Luther King Jr. to declare that people should be judged by the content of their character, not the colour of their skin.
Every Nigerian ethnic group is known for its unique traditions, occupations, skills, and strengths. Crime, however, has no ethnicity. A thief is a thief. A terrorist is a terrorist. A kidnapper is a kidnapper. They are bad actors, not representatives of any people. They must be identified, arrested, and punished according to the law.
We must decisively abandon the dangerous practice of blaming entire ethnic groups for the actions of a few criminals. It is unjust, it breeds hatred, and it damages our national unity.
Let us proudly celebrate our diverse cultures, talents, and contributions, rather than falling prey to stereotypes and prejudices that politicians and divisive interests exploit for their gain.
A new Nigeria must emerge—one where no citizen is condemned because of tribe, religion, or birthplace. We can cherish our cultural roots while standing united by justice, mutual respect, and hope for a better future. We are capable of this.
A new Nigeria is within our reach. -PO
An Obi who does not have any single Igbo person in his inner “daily task” circle, is an Igbo candidate
But Tinubu who’s Chief Spokesperson, Chief of Staff, Advisers & Entire Inner circle are ALL YORUBAS is not a Tribal Candidate
The Paradox you only see in Nigerian politics. 📌
ANDROID USERS, READ THIS!
Your phone says "Storage Full."
So you delete photos. Delete videos. Uninstall apps. Yet the storage barely moves.
That's because the real culprits aren't your photos or apps. it's the hidden junk Android quietly stores in the background
Here's how I cleaned my phone yesterday and recovered 35GB without deleting a single photo, video, app, or chat I actually use.
Here's exactly how I did it:

Pastor David Ibiyeomie has spoken. He advised Nigerians to stand up against rigging. He called for Citizens’ Revolution against our oppressors.
Thank you Papa, we heard The Salvation Ministries loud & clear. Nigeria must be OK. 👏
Emeka Ike hails from one of Peter Gregory Obi’s strongholds. He was singled out for slaughter; to make an example of. How did Lere Olayinka gain access to Emeka’s classified information?
How was he able to access the database?
Opposition must demand an immediate forensic examination of INEC’s database.
Lere Olayinka has access to INEC’s backend.
It only means that the Commission has been totally compromised. The rot is deeper than we thought. You will get to your polling unit—only to discover that the BVAS machine cannot read your card. You will discover that INEC & agents of the ruling party (have searched out your name, & deleted your INFO from the system).
Agent provocateurs will transfer your PVC registration to a different polling unit or state. A place far away from where you are supposed to vote. Peter Obi should not take this lightly!
From what we witnessed at FCT local election, INEC transferred those who voted for Obi to distant locations, far away from where they were supposed to vote. People only got to find out on the day of that local council election.
On top of that, Wike declared a curfew. He prevented people from moving around. You will be surprised that voters in certain regions & places where Obi got high number of votes are being mass deleted from the database as I speak. That way, their PVCs cannot be read.
Peter Obi’s stronghold is being tampered with. This is no longer a scaremongering, it’s a FACT! This is disenfranchisement on a grand scale.
The above are some of the many ways that Nigerians are going to be disenfranchised—worse, restricted! The inmates have taken over the asylum. Mad men are running things now.
INEC will put the lives of NYSC officials in danger. A widespread disenfranchisement like that could lead to break down of law & order.
Time to fix this is now! Tomorrow might be late! If an APC urchin can have Admin access to INEC’s backbend, then nothing is impossible!
Opposition must leave nothing to chance. We must deal with this issue NOW! Current INEC must be disbanded! Joash Amupitan must go!
ACCEPTANCE SPEECH BY MR. PETER OBI FOLLOWING HIS NOMINATION AS THE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE OF THE NIGERIAN DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS(NDC) – MAY 30, 2026
Protocols,
Esteemed citizens of Nigeria,
It is with deep humility that I accept the role of presidential candidate for our party.
I express my profound gratitude to the leaders of our party. His Excellency Seriake Dickson, the National Chairman, National Secretary and the National Working Committee, NWC members and members of our relentless supporters, and the Nigerian populace who have steadfastly kept the spirit of hope alive. I commend those who have made the journey from every region of our nation to convene here in Abuja.
I wish to assert unequivocally: a New Nigeria is Possible. This conviction has united us; it must serve as our compass on the challenging road ahead and sustain us through all trials we may face. This pivotal moment transcends the individual ambitions of Peter Obi; it concerns the essence of our nation and the future of our children. It is about rekindling hope for millions who have faced adversity yet remain committed to Nigeria.
Today, our nation finds itself at a crucial juncture, enveloped in uncertainty. Families are anxious about their safety; parents are concerned for their children's futures; and talented youth increasingly question their prospects in their homeland.
Businesses are struggling, communities are suffering, and an alarming number of citizens have lost faith in the very concept of governance. Yet, I stand before you filled with optimism and strong faith in the resilience of our people, for I firmly believe that a New Nigeria is possible.
UNITY
To realise this New Nigeria, we must first mend the foundational elements essential for the success of any nation.
Nigeria cannot advance while fragmented by ethnic, religious, regional, or narrow political divides. We may communicate in different languages and practise diverse faiths, but we share a singular destiny under one flag. Our diversity should not be a source of division; rather, it is among our greatest strengths.
We should build bridges where others erect barriers, replace mistrust with confidence, division with understanding, and resentment with a collective purpose. A united Nigeria is indispensable. As Will Durant wisely pointed out, "A great civilisation is not conquered from without until it has destroyed itself from within." We must never self-destruct. We must heal, unify, and progress together.
INSECURITY
In terms of security, the situation in Nigeria has considerably worsened. The global terrorism impact assessments ranked Nigeria as the 8th most affected nation in 2022, 6th in 2024, and 4th in 2026.
Yet, for many years, Nigeria garnered global recognition as a reliable contributor to peacekeeping, regional stabilisation, and conflict resolution. Our troops have not only displayed bravery but have also shown professionalism, discipline, resilience, and empathy in the most challenging operational contexts. Our officers and personnel have successfully commanded multiple international forthe ces, safeguarded vulnerable civilian populations, monitored ceasefires, reinstated constitutional order, and contributed to rebuilding efforts.
Nigeria became one of the leading contributors of troops from Africa to UN peacekeeping missions and earned widespread admiration for operational effectiveness and leadership in various countries, including Rwanda, Sudan, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Mali, Western Sahara, Congo, Lebanon, Cambodia, Haiti, and Kuwait. At one pointin a Nigeria, Lt. General Isaac Obiakor (rtd) even led global peacekeeping initiatives.
We must address insecurity with resolve and urgency, for no nation can thrive while its citizens live in trepidation. The primary responsibility of the government is to ensure the safeguarding of lives and property.
THE BACKDOOR IS OPEN: How APC is Entering INEC's Secret Database
The lie that INEC is independent has finally been exposed. It did not happen because a whistleblower spoke out or because of a big investigation. It happened because APC operatives are now so proud of their power that they do not even care about hiding their tracks.
To mock actor Emeka Ike because he transferred his voter registration from Imo State to Abuja, an APC apologist, Lere went online to share screenshots. But he made a big mistake. He did not just share a rumor; he shared clear screenshots taken from inside the secret, password-protected backend database of INEC.
For an ordinary person, the pictures look like normal registration slips. But if you look closely at the top of the browser tab, the web address shows https://t.co/Ne2YNhFv0f.
Let this sink in very well. This cvradmin is not a public website. It is not the place where you and I go to check our voter cards. It is the highly restricted, internal database meant ONLY for INEC ICT officials and data managers. Yet, an APC member has the password to enter inside, see a citizen's secret tracking number, check his private details, and look at internal system steps.
This shows us two scary things: First, it means INEC has completely sold out. They have handed over their secret passwords to APC boys so they can spy on citizens' data whenever they want. Second, it means INEC’s computer security is totally broken. Their database has an open door where politicians can easily enter to pack, track, and change the data of over 90 million Nigerian voters.
If you think this is just a fight between big politicians, you are wrong. If the ruling party can sit in their house, log into INEC’s backend, and track who is transferring their PVC, exactly when they applied, and where they are moving to, then no opposition strategy is safe. Your privacy as a citizen does not exist.
This explains the magic numbers we always see during elections. When a political party has access to the computer backend, they can trace where voters are moving to. They can target specific transfers and reject them, stop registrations in areas where people do not like them, and fix the election results long before the election day. By using private data to bully people, they have proved what Nigerians have been saying all along: INEC and APC are using the exact same server room.
This is a big crime under the Nigeria Data Protection Act and it threatens our national security. INEC cannot just release one useless press statement to blame "glitch." The Data Protection Commission must launch a proper investigation immediately to find out the exact INEC staff whose password was used to leak this file. Also, the INEC insiders who gave out the password and the politicians who used it must be arrested and sent to jail under the Cybercrimes Act.
The battle for Nigerian democracy is no longer just about guarding ballot boxes at the polling units. The real war is now inside the INEC computers. If INEC has given its keys to the ruling party, then a free and fair election in Nigeria is a total lie. INEC Chairman must tell the nation the truth: Why is APC managing your backend?
An illustrious son of Abaomege-Onyeka Ngwuta (The CEO INCREASE OIL AND GAS) mounted a Bill Board of Obi/Kwakwaso campaign-Ok Movement in support of the Obi's presidential ambition. Not up to 24hrs he finished mounting the billboard that some group of Touts, Miscreants, Holigans and Never-to-do well were sent by WHOEVER SENT THEM to go there tear, destroy and bring down the billboard.
It's unfortunate that this is happening in 21st century when these waywards are supposed to have been wise.
I don't blame the person who sent them to do such hatchet job because it maybe someone who is uneducated and lacked exposure otherwise why fighting with a billboard? Destroying the billboard cannot change anything if not making campaigns difficult for them.
For me, I will put a flex of Obi in the front of our compound very soon and watch the STUP!D person that will be fool!shly sent to destroy it. Doing so is a direct ticket and tantamount to GONE SO SOON as I won't report it to police or pray to God about it. There's many way to handle issues without noise.
No one has the monopoly of going beyond boundaries!
It's funny that the government in power has given over 1,700 Civil Service job within three years and non of these mischievous boys benefitted even one slot but they're good in carrying out jobs that they'll only earn curses.
I think I was in Abaomege today for our party's (NDC) primaries, they should have come to stop us from talking about NDC!
That's when we will open an old wound and start treating it back.
However, it's good that they're the ones who opened the front gate of political hostility in Abaomege. They're the first to destroy campaign billboard in someone's family compound in case...
It's now on record and no one should ask further question when billboard no longer stands in Abaomege.

Not a time to share a joke, promote entertainment or campaign!!!! People died, people are dying not from natural causes but TERRORISM AND BANDITRY… We cannot let this abnormality become our normal in Naija… The country is BLEEDING
Terrorists collected the maths teacher's phone, saw a picture where he held a bible in the phone, and they beheaded him. He was beheaded because he's a Christian.
But they will still tell you there's no genocide of Christians in Nigeria.
Yesterday, May 19th, in Abuja, I attended the Presidential screening organised by our party, which took over two and a half hours. They carefully reviewed all my documents, including my degree certificates, NYSC credentials, and age declarations.
During the process, I also addressed questions regarding my vision for a new Nigeria and the type of leadership our nation urgently needs right now. Following this, I was cleared and received the presidential nomination form I had previously paid for.
I would like to commend the screening committee, led by former governor Sam Egwu, for their thorough and professional approach. Additionally, I appreciate our party's leadership for upholding the democratic process.

“There can be no keener revelation of a society’s soul than the way in which it treats its children.” — Nelson Mandela
Yesterday, the global community marked the International Day of the Boy Child. For me, it was a day of sober reflection on the future of the boy child in a nation like ours, where the horrible spate of insecurity, mass abductions, hunger, and inadequate investment in health and education constantly jeopardise the lives and futures of our children.
It is generally believed that our children are the leaders of tomorrow, and rightly so. However, one wonders how our children will lead society tomorrow if we fail to secure their lives and future today. From severe hunger and malnutrition to a lack of basic education and primary healthcare; from worsening levels of insecurity and mass abductions to alarming rates of moral decadence in society—the boy child faces numerous existential challenges from birth.
For him to become a responsible and productive member of society, the boy child must be given a sound basic education, empowered with productive skills, and mentored with the right progressive values that help build a better society.
In the words of Frederick Douglass: “It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men.” We must stop the neglect and abuse we unleash on our boy children and begin to secure their lives and invest in their future for the sake of our collective future as a nation. As I have always maintained, the society we abuse today will take its revenge on us tomorrow.
And to every boy child out there: do not give up on your dreams. We are on a journey toward building a nation that not only secures your life and invests in your future, but also helps you grow and fuels your dreams so that you can embrace global opportunities that match your talents and aspirations.
Happy International Day of the Boy Child.
