Instead of trying to predict where Oil would go next, I backtested a neutral Grid bot on @tradexyz using @supurr_app -> over the last 60 days with 1000 USDC.

The best setup I found was:

20 grids
Range: 84 to 116
Profit: +232.21 USDC in 60 days

That came out to a 23.22% return over the test window.

Annualized, that works out to 141.26% APR.

That’s what makes this interesting.

While breakout traders were waiting for confirmation, this system was simply harvesting the chop, the reversals, and the repeated movement inside the range.
