@SonsofSatVT We live in Connecticut and still have season tickets so we drive the 1200+ mile round trip for the games. We miss a couple each year though.
Conversation when ordering at a local restaurant:
“An order of steamers please”
“Small or large?”
“What is the difference of the sizes”
“One is bigger”
Seriously….
@moorej2433@elonmusk Almost correct. In World of Warcraft players of the two different factions (Horde vs Alliance) couldn’t communicate directly. You could “say” something that could only be read by other players nearby your character. If you said “lol” the opposite faction read it as “kek”
The next card on the top of the deck is Kc right side up. Floor is called and that card is mucked. Flop is AdJc3c. Bb donks 5k into me and I call. Turn is the 9c and the BB goes all in for 49k. I think and call. BB has 4c7c and blank on the river cripples me :(. Should I call?
Interesting poker hand in this tournament. Playing 600-1.2k blinds, I have about 75k from a start of 50k. Dealt AcJh and make it 3k to go from middle position. Only the BB calls me. Dealer burns and deals the 3 flop cards face down.
@DaveScarangella I wonder if this will go the way of corporate America with coaches signing non-competes so they can’t take players with them if they move
@RivalsPortal Not sure I understand the upside on this. She doesn’t get NIL and would be a top draft pick. Lots of downside potential here, except for a new coach wanting to build a program - so all upside for the coach. Not sure she is getting wise counsel on this.
